We are living through ecological collapse, spiritual disconnection, and social unraveling. Our social movements are stretched and need the world’s healers and wisdom carriers — those who hold the sacred technologies of balance, regeneration, and right relationship.

Soul of the Movement exists to restore the flow of life-giving resources to spirit-rooted activists, many of whom are struggling to survive within systems built on extraction and separation.

We move money, power, and attention toward what sustains the sacred. We are guiding each other back to the original blueprint of life in which Spirit is centered.

The Soul of the Movement (SoM) is born of the belief that social movements are sacred. Every impulse to resist oppression, domination or marginalization, every instinct to be free or find justice, is at once a movement of the Spirit. The spark within each human being that instinctively asserts her dignity, seeks her freedom, or demands social justice, is a divine spark. The freedom to live into the fullness of our humanity, so that we may live into the fullness of our divinity, is our common birthright and universal call. When we center this sacred truth, our movements have a unique power. This has been true throughout history. We must make it so now during this unprecedented time of social, political and planetary crisis.

Centuries of colonization have attempted to silence the sacred through techniques of oppression and control. And yet, even now, after centuries of colonialism, extractive capitalism, and secularization, people of Spirit know that spark, remember that Voice, still feel that Presence.

In this time of social upheaval and planetary crisis, we need a movement more deeply grounded in the sacred - a movement that is transformative and not simply transactional.  We cannot legislate transformation; we can only inspire it.

The SoM invites us to drink from a deeper wellspring than what politics and ideology have to offer.

It calls forth revitalized communities through social movements grounded in ancient ways of knowing. It guides us towards healing and supports us in building lasting power for enduring justice and peace.
