A woman with dark hair and a slight wave, smiling softly, in a room with green walls and framed pictures behind her, wearing a dark blazer and earrings, with a decorative oval frame surrounding her.

Since early childhood, I have been fascinated by birth, spending hours flipping through the pages of Ina May Gaskin’s ‘Spiritual Midwifery.’  This fascination became a call to follow and lead where people come alive to what nourishes fullness of life in this world.  I attended Princeton Theological Seminary and was ordained in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in 2012.  In my first pastoral call I served as Cross-Cultural Catalyst for Hudson River Presbytery, inviting the 80 congregations of the region into engaged conversation and practice with the communities outside of their church doors.

Through careful facilitation, I worked with congregational leaders towards transforming patterns of scarcity and isolation so that a deeper sharing of congregational resources might flow into the broader community.  I have spent most of my adult life living in intentional community and growing within the constraints and expansions of community commitment. I was a member of and spiritually shaped by the Community of Living Traditions, a multifaith community at Stony Point Center where my family lived and worked for six years.

I am currently a member of Freedom Farm Community, a faith-rooted community that grows and shares the gift of food from the earth with partner organizations.  I serve as a board member at one of those organizations, Proyecto Faro, a grassroots immigrant rights group that has taught me so much about the transformative power of solidarity and compassion.

Alexie Torres and I connected through Freedom Farm Community and, in 2024, I was invited to work alongside her at Soul of the Movement and Jubilee Gift Galaxy.  I am currently co-creating a monthly prayer gathering (with art-making) at Freedom Farm Community to listen for the new realities emerging from the ground in this time of great unraveling.
