I am a proud grandmother from the Taino Indigenous community of Boriken. I am a descendant of the healer Reyes Sanchez (Mama Reyes) from Rio Grande. I have the great honor of being a formal part of the Indigenous community for over 15 years (although I have been Taino all my life).
